The Media Centre will provide a work base for all journalists and broadcast teams. Facilities will include downloadable event photography, business amenities and a what's on? board.
This year, in line with the country's bid to reduce our own carbon footprint, KBB, Expotile and HPE will create a paperless Media Centre. Paper press packs will be a thing of the past and exhibitors will now be requested to supply digital press packs.
Journalists will be issued with a USB memory stick when they arrive at the event. Exhibitor press packs will be uploaded onto the PCs in the Media Centre and journalists will be able to drag the information onto their memory sticks.
In doing so, we are creating a sustainable environment which will also negate the need for journalists to carry around heavy bags of press material.
The Media Centre will be situated in Hall 19 and will be open between 9am and 6pm 2-4 March and between 9am and 5pm on 5 March.
