Cost Effective Advertising
Even if we ignore some of the more excitable headlines in the mainstream media, most of us would admit the market could be a little better.
When a market toughens up, it is more important than ever to make every marketing penny count. That is why it is important to frequently review your b-2-b advertising strategy.
How many times have you skipped past a magazine advertisement without noticing it? Often, the only way you can 'guarantee' your advertisement is noticed in the first place, is to pay for a 'prime' position and 'go large'.
The reason that large ad in its prime position is so costly is it has to pay for the production, print and postage of the magazine itself – logical but expensive
There has to be a different yet effective way to use a proportion of your marketing budget. There is. Pay-Per-View (PPV) advertising on the kbb News website.
PPV advertising works in a similar fashion to PPV television. With PPV advertising you only pay for your ad when it is on view.
The number of times your advertisement is viewed is up to you and you can fine tune your budget as you go.
You can also fine tune your advertising message as frequently as you wish throughout the campaign by simply changing the copy on the website page your banner points to.
While your target audience may flip past your ad in a magazine, a website banner always gets attention, although how often it is clicked on depends on the message you present.
Views are bought in blocks of 10,000 starting at £250 for a button. This works out at less than 2.5p per view.
We’re not suggesting that PPV advertising on the kbb News should replace all your magazine advertising, but there is certainly a place for digital advertising in your marketing plans for 2009.
Frankly, this is one of the most cost-effective way to put your message to the KBB market.
