The UK’s largest, most exciting gathering of the world’s best kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands took place from 2-5 March 2014. It was the place for visitors to source and specify the latest innovations and bestsellers from the very best. The show gave visitors the opportunity to see 1000's of NEW products, network with the key players in their industry, make NEW contacts, and get involved in incredible NEW show experiences.
Winners of the Innovation Awards!
In a wave of excitement, the three Innovation Award winners were announced on Monday 3rd May at kbb Birmingham 2014. Cosentino for kitchens, Daval Furniture for bedrooms and Wirquin for bathrooms.
With over 300 brands, manufacturers and suppliers, kbb Birmingham was the place to source the very latest new products, new technologies and stunning new ranges from furniture, appliances and accessories to components and surfaces.
We welcomed the best of Britain, Europe and beyond to the show including Ideal Standard, Roca, British Ceramic Tile, Blanco, DR Cooker Hoods, Acquabella, Blum, Bauformat, Der Kreis, Faber, Rot Punkt, Gory Cucine, Kesseler, Masterclass Kitchens and more. See the full exhibitor list here
The Global Kitchen Café at kbb Birmingham was a hub of activity. Featuring a Rot Punkt kitchen and V-ZUG appliances, the area featured demonstrations and cooking challenges as well as food from across the globe.
Visitors were able to join award winning chefs, Nick Crosley, Theo Randall and Jean-Christophe Novelli on a culinary world tour.
What are the latest trends and innovations for 2014? What new products will be delighting buyers and leading the way? On Monday 3rd May we were delighted to announce the three winners of the Innovation Awards – Wirqin, Cosentino and Daval Furniture.
We asked exhibitors to choose the product they saw as their most innovative, and the panel of judges selected the winners.
Visitors were able to visit the seminar theatre for business advice and inspiration in our free, four-day, seminar programme!
The 2014 programme included business advice, ecommerce, market updates, and insight into future trends. Andrew Davies from kbbreview hosted The Great Debate, Global Color advise on trends and legendary bathroom guru Robin Levien talked to Philippa Turrell.
For 2015, a dedicated sector within London’s May Design Series will house kitchen, bedroom and bathroom products, an annual offering for the KBB industry.
2015 will be the third edition of May Design Series, an annual gathering serving the retail, commercial, residential and hospitality markets, consisting of five show sectors.
