The online kbbForum

The online kbbForum hosted on LinkedIn (originally called the kbb News Forum) started in October 2010 and exists to encourage the exchange of ideas and information between professionals involved in the design, supply and execution of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom projects.

The aim of kbbForum is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information between professionals involved in the design, supply and execution of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom projects for both corporate clients and private investors.

Informed comment on any aspect of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom projects: project coordination; kitchen, bedroom and bathroom design issues; plus lighting design, supply and installation are welcomed.

Product suppliers are encouraged to both join in the debates (and become members and to start them as well), however blatant product plugging is discouraged in kbbForum and such posts may be moved to the Promotions section of kbbForum by one of the managers.

Anyone on LinkedIn is free to post comments, and submit discussions for approval by kbbForum's managers. The managers are journalists working for the leading kitchen, bathroom and merchant publications and websites. Collectively this group has a wide view of the whole KBB sector and know a good topic for discussion when they see one!

Membership of this group is open to anybody with a professional interest in the design, supply and execution of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom projects and they can post discussions, promotions, jobs and comments.

kbbForum Rules:

These are kept to a minimum so as to encourage the free flow of debate. There are just two:

  1. It is in the best interests of all who contribute to kbbForum that we all try to stay on topic. This is not always easy! But if one topic leads to a second topic with strong legs, it may sometimes be better to set up a separate discussion about the second topic.
  2. Do not to get into an online slanging match with somebody you disagree strongly with. While it can be great spectator sport for some, it can also get quite heated and personal and will turn people away from kbbForum.
