What’s Happening?

From 6-9 March 2022, we will be hosting our event at the NEC Birmingham, bringing the KBB industry together to do business and marvel at the most innovative products on the market. Visitors will be able to meet with over 200 suppliers in person from across 20 countries. Brands exhibiting at the show include Quooker, Capel, Electrolux, Samsung, Verona, Laufen, Caesarstone, REHAU, Liebherr, Roca, Acquabella, Rotpunkt Kuchen, Armac Martin, Fisher & Paykel, Bora, Dansani, Lithe Audio, Multipanel, Quartzforms, Showerwall, The CDA Group, Villeroy & Boch and Virtual Worlds.

For four days there will be countless opportunities to forge new business relationships, all in a safe and secure environment. Source from a wide breadth of products, all under one roof. From kitchen furniture and bathroom accessories to components, surfaces and worktops, kbb Birmingham presents the newest and most forward-thinking designs the industry has to offer.

Stands to Look Out For

There are dozens of exhibitor stands to look out for at kbb Birmingham 2022, each presenting something new and exciting for visitors to experience. Pop to see MERLYN, who has partnered with renowned Interior designer Jo Love of LOVE Interiors to create an immersive multisensory stand experience. Meet the designer and ignite your senses with a guided media tour of the Sensory Experience stand on Monday 7th March, 11am-3pm. 

Meanwhile, Häfele will be holding two masterclasses with the BBC’s ‘Your Home Made Perfect’ architect and designer Laura Jane Clark on Monday 7th March. On the same day multi-award-winning interior designer, and InSinkErator® brand ambassador, Kelly Hoppen CBE will be joining the InSinkErator® team on its stand. Other exhibitors will be preparing live demonstrations of their products to enjoy, Kaelo will be hosting a happy hour every day from 4-5pm with free Prosecco to promote their open bottle host product. Also, Haier will host a live cooking event during the show, which will include a special guest appearance from a well-known TV celebrity.

There are dozens of exciting happenings taking place at our event, from live demonstrations to happy hours and exciting awards ceremonies.

The kbb Innovation Awards 2022, in partnership with Blum, will once again take place at the show with the 10 finalists displayed in the Innovation Awards Gallery during the event. The awards honour the best and most innovative ideas in the KBB industry, recognising the most creative and ground-breaking solutions. Winner will be crowned for the following awards: Judges’ Choice, People’s Choice and Best Sustainable Design.

Don’t miss kbb Birmingham’s grand celebration of International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8th March. We will host a free drinks reception at the bar at 12 noon to mark the day with free drinks for female attendees. We will also announce the winner of our survey to unveil who the most inspiring woman in the KBB industry is for 2022. 

Product Launches

Hundreds of products will be launching at kbb Birmingham. Discover market-leading boiling water taps design and manufacturer, Quooker, who will launch its new and improved Quooker CUBE – an accessory that delivers filtered, chilled and sparkling water and reduces the need for single-use plastic bottles by providing carbonated water more responsibly.  

Meanwhile, kitchen furniture company, Villeroy, will host the UK launch of its striking new Carrè Signature kitchen furniture collection.

Be there to witness the very first viewing in the UK of Roca’s latest bathroom collection, Ona, a high-performance range inspired by the Mediterranean Sea. The new collection stands out for its versatility, wide range and timeless design with soft shapes and geometric lines. 

Ca’ Pietra will also be revealing a beautiful new addition to its National Trust Tile Collection, with the designs paying homage to the natural beauty of British streams, marshes and wetlands for an impactful, calming, and organic bathroom interior. 

What’s New?

We’ve made several alterations to our event this year to ensure the smooth running of our show and to put the safety of our visitors and exhibitors at the heart of our event. In line with other large UK venues and the Informa AllSecure standards, proof of COVID-19 status will be required before entering the NEC for kbb Birmingham 2022. Sustainability is another strong focus for us in 2022 and going into the future. In order to reduce our impact and remain a responsible event organiser, we have decided to ‘go digital’ where possible. This includes digital tickets, which will be received after registering and scanned on your smart phone upon entering. This also includes a digital Show Directory, which will replace our printed show guide from previous editions. Including useful tips, interesting articles and a run-down of all of the exhibitors, it contains all the information you need for the event.
