kbb Birmingham is the Place to be for the Latest Bathroom Innovations


Over 75 bathroom brands will take to the floor next week as kbb Birmingham returns to the NEC from 1-4 March 2020. The biennial event dedicated to the kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms sector is set to showcase new bathroom products and innovative solutions to inspire and educate attendees from some of the world’s leading manufacturers.

“We have a fantastic line-up of bathroom exhibitors this year,” comments Mark Gordon, Director, kbb Birmingham. “Visitors will be able to meet with global brands such as the Roca Group, Poalgi, Legnox Spa and McGrath and we are really pleased to welcome new and exciting brands to the show for the first time including, Atlanta Bathrooms, Aqualla Brassware and Azzurra Bathrooms. This proves that the event is going from strength to strength and remains one of the top destinations for new products and networking.”

With a focus this year on personalisation and an aim to inspire, kbb is the place to explore the latest trends and to see what the market leaders have to offer. Highlights from the bathroom sector at this year’s show include:

Founded in Italy in 1981, entrance sponsors NEWFORM has an impressive portfolio of bathroom and kitchen solutions which they will be displaying at kbb 2020. With products ranging from taps and showers to wellness equipment, Newform has a diverse offering to suit the differing needs of the consumer. The introduction of new collections and finishes will prove popular at this year’s show. Newform can be found on stand E62.

Synergy, exclusively distributed by ROBERT LEE, is showcasing its wide range of products suitable for a complete range of bathroom styles at KBB 2020. The striking San Marlo matte bath which combines an opulent appearance and elegant curves with a powerful presence will be present on the stand. Whilst Synergy are bringing complete bathroom suites, there will also be a large range of unique taps and radiators in their specialist pod areas, housing products to suit every bathroom.

MCBATH will be bringing their latest innovations in shower tray design to the show. The Spanish brand known for its development of solid surface materials, will showcase their basins and shower trays in a variety of textured finishes including Mirage. Mirage is a revolutionary shower tray; the cleverly designed material imitates the marble stone texture and is available in four finishes. Visit them on stand A55.

Danish brand DANSANI will bring cutting-edge design to kbb 2020. The company will be showcasing its latest furniture range, YOU, alongside new towel warmers. In addition to the new innovations, Dansani will be displaying its existing solutions, Calidris, Zaro and Luna, offering made to measure basin options in both glass and solid surface. Dansani are located at the front of Hall 20 on stand, E58.

RAK CERAMICS will be showcasing some of their latest creations at kbb, including RAK-Illusion, a sanitaryware collection designed with clean lines that creates a feeling of suspension. Additionally, RAK will also be displaying RAK-Variant, a line of washbasins with customisable configurations and limitless possibilities.

Colour and Technology will be a focus for ROCA at this year’s kbb. After launching a range of new coloured finishes for its Beyond collection, the Spanish bathroom manufacturer will also display the new Everlux PVD finishes available in selected brassware lines. Additionally, both In-Wash Inspira and In-Wash In-Tank, will be on display to reflect the emerging trend for smart bathrooms. Visit Roca at Room 32-34.

ACQUABELLA will be launching their Quiz collection at kbb 2020. The unique collection is named after the innovative Quiz texture, available in three high-quality finishes including; Beton, Zero and Ethnic. The cleverly designed material can be used to create stunning shower trays with a hidden centre drain. Visit Acquabella on stand E60.

FIORA is an example of a global brand who offer a complete bathroom solution, including shower trays, furniture, sanitaryware and radiators. This year one of the stand-out ranges is the new Synergy Furniture collection. With a focus on sensitivity to material, the Synergy collection reimagines the solid wood finger-jointed boards with two distinctive surfaces; a straight groove and a rounded surface. Available in all of Fiora’s standard colours there are three new finishes exclusive to the Synergy collection: Ultramar, Kermes and Tuile. The versatile range can adapt to different bathroom spaces due to the number of combinations and colours available. See more on stand D89.

Shower solution manufacturer ROMAN will be launching a selection of new products at this year’s show including the new Liberty Fluted Glass Wetroom panel, Innov8 Slides, Innov8 Curved Quadrants and Innov8 Hinged Doors. The Innov8 range highlights the advancements in shower design and allows for multiple configurations regardless of the bathroom layout. Situated at the front of Hall 20 on stand E20, Roman will ensure a great first impression.

LAUFEN will be showcasing the award-winning ‘The New Classic’ collection, the brand’s latest designer collaboration. Designed under the creative leadership of superstar Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, the innovative collection interprets classical styles using Laufen’s innovative SaphirKeramik to help create soft, gentle feminine curves, alongside angular, masculine elements. The result is a multi-dimensional, design masterpiece. The full bathroom range includes washstands, washbasin bowls, toilets, a bidet and bathtub, faucets, mirrors and accessories, as well as furniture. Additionally, the Swiss bathroom brand will be displaying its latest smart WC; Cleanet Navia along with popular collections, Val and Sonar. Visit Laufen at Room 32-34.

In addition to showcasing new products, Shower enclosure company MERLYN have teamed up with the Pink Ribbon Foundation to launch the #justareminder campaign by placing laser-cut pink ribbon stickers on all its shower enclosures. To celebrate the launch, on Monday 2nd March, Pink Ribbon Foundation ambassador, Hayley Sparkes will be on stand E79 in Hall 20.

Not only will the event feature innovations from the above brands, but there will be many more inspirational stands from bathroom exhibitors including, Perrin & Rowe, Scudo, Bathroom Origins, Villeroy & Boch, Victoria & Albert Baths, Flova and the Pura Bathrooms Group (PBG).

kbb Birmingham 2020 will feature a wide range of exhibitors from the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom sector. The four-day event expects an audience of over 15,500 visitors and provides an ideal networking opportunity for senior decision markers.
