kbb Sets Eyes on Birmingham: Update Regarding Novel Coronavirus

The kbb Birmingham team is continuing to closely monitor the developments of the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, through the advice of public health authorities. We wish to reassure our visitors, customers and colleagues their health and safety is always the top priority.

kbb Birmingham enjoys the support of many international brands of which the vast majority come from across Europe. For those few companies based in China, we are working with them to close their physical stand and instead create an exclusively online digital pavilion. This is due to the travel restrictions currently in place, brought about by COVID-19. Our attendees and exhibitors can all be reassured the rest of kbb Birmingham is going ahead as planned. Registrations for the show are tracking significantly ahead year on year with the highest recorded registrations received this week, and it’s entirely business as usual for this amazing event.

We continue to follow all safety advice and precautions as recommended by the UK’s Department of Health and Social Care and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO), seriously. Attendees are recommended to maintain good hand, respiratory and personal hygiene.

“Top priority is ensuring the safest and most enjoyable experience,” says Dana Teague, VP of kbb, part of the Informa Markets portfolio of brands. “We look forward to kbb and forecast this year’s edition to be among the largest and most well-attended.”

kbb Birmingham connects the world's leading brands with 15,000 retail, design and development buyers, creating an unrivalled environment for sourcing and networking.
