Drop in clinics

Richard Hibbert, National Chair of the KBSA, will host a number of drop-in clinics for owners and managers from independent retailers at kbb Birmingham.

Richard is inviting you to book a 30-minute slot with him to gain advice and knowledge on a variety of topics such as the below and more….

  • Starting a business 
  • Taking on your first employee
  • Selling a business
  • Taking on a new product offering 
  • Getting through difficult times

Richard will be available for these drop-in clinics between 14:30 and 16:30 on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th March, located in the Press Office in the Hall 18 restaurant.

About Richard

Richard has 22 years of experience within the industry and has witnessed a huge amount of change in those years leading to his position as Chair of the KBSA. As a business consultant and retailer, he is primed to offer his knowledge and advice to those coming into the market or wanting to diversify their product ranges.

Round tables

Richard Hibbert, National Chair of the KBSA, invites independent retailers to join him in a round table discussion at the show. An opportunity for a small group (6-8 max) of like-minded people to discuss a variety of topical issues including:

  • State of the industry
  • Pressing issues
  • Charging for design
  • What can a trade association deliver?
  • Barriers to entry

We will be hosting 2 roundtables – Monday 4th  and Tuesday 5th at 11:00-12:00pm and 1:00-2:00 pm
