BORA: The end of the extractor hood

17/12/2015

The BORA principle: Purely in terms of physics, it is easier to draw off vapour directly at the cooktop. The cooktop extractor fan produces a lateral flow that draws any vapours that form in pots and pans directly and completely into the vent.

That's why all BORA cooktop extractor fans carry the 100% Clean rate seal. Unlike with extractor hoods, it is therefore impossible for vapours and odours to spread through the kitchen and living area. BORA brings together physics and style and offers well designed and very high quality cooktop extractor fans capable of being installed both flush with or on top of all types of worktops, such as wood, natural stone, glass or stainless steel.

The system is hidden in a lower cupboard, without reducing storage space in the process. This translates into totally new possibilities in kitchen designing, since architects and fans of kitchen design can now plan without the need to accommodate suspended extractor hoods.

In addition, the BORA system is extremely quiet. Even at the highest operating level, only 54 decibels of sound are generated; by comparison, around 70 decibels are generated when browning meat. For this reason, the BORA systems are extremely well suited for the trend towards open living and kitchen spaces, since the sound of vapour being extracted fades into the background.
