kbb Birmingham, Europe’s largest biennial kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms event, will once again recognise the most forward-thinking solutions within the industry through its Innovation Awards 2020 programme. All kbb Birmingham exhibitors are encouraged to enter a new method, idea or product that celebrates innovation, with winners announced at the show which takes place at the NEC from 1-4 March 2020.
Manufacturer Blum is confirmed as the Innovation Awards partner for the 2020 event, continuing its support of the awards programme. Blum operates internationally as a leading manufacturer of high-quality kitchens fittings, which are renowned for outstanding build quality and design. The manufacturer is perfectly positioned as a pioneer of great design to be a sponsor of the awards.
All kbb Birmingham exhibitors are invited to enter inventions for consideration by an expert panel for the Innovation Awards. The judging panel will feature leading professionals representing different areas of the KBB market, including individuals from design, technical, journalism, and industry backgrounds. Judges will expect submissions representing the very best innovations in the industry, ranging from products and components to manufacturing techniques that are disrupting the market.
Only solutions or products launched since March 2018 will be accepted, with 10 successful shortlisted entries to be displayed across specially designed plinths at the show. Winners will be announced on the third day of kbb Birmingham, 3 March.
Visitors to the show will then decide the People’s Choice Award, by voting via the event mobile application or onsite voting stations. The entry with the most votes by Tuesday 3 March will be announced as the winner.
